About our Presenter:
Janis Murray developed Murray Prep to help students like her own son and those seeking employment benefit from the relevant aspects of communication training offered to corporate clients. As a media trainer with MediaMasters, Inc. since 1992, Ms. Murray has trained thousands of corporate clients to improve their performance in interviews and presentations. With an M.S. degree in journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. degree in political science from The University of Michigan, Ms. Murray began her career as a television news reporter in Detroit, Boston, St. Louis, and for CNN in New York. Today, she recognizes the importance of matching one’s strengths to the needs and goals of the company or college. As a parent, she is responsive to the sensitivities of young adults facing new situations. This combination of experience and understanding is reflected in the individual attention each client receives in Murray Prep sessions.
